VERIVERY member Kangmin’s agency has completely denied the allegations regarding leaked CCTV footage of a bar date with KISS OF LIFE’s Julie.

On the 29th, Jellyfish Entertainment stated, “We have confirmed that groundless rumors about our artist, a member of VERIVERY, are being recklessly spread and circulated through portal sites, online articles, various communities, and social media,” adding, “These rumors are completely untrue and constitute malicious false information that seriously damages the artist’s reputation.”

The agency continued, “We prioritize the protection of our artist and plan to take strong legal action without leniency against those who create, spread, or reproduce such malicious rumors.”

They also asked fans to report any malicious posts or content, emphasizing, “We will continue to do our best to protect our artist’s rights and interests and will maintain a strong and consistent response to prevent damage caused by false information.”

Previously, a video surfaced on China’s Weibo platform showing a man and woman engaging in physical affection at what appeared to be a bar. In the video, the man is seen stroking the hair and hugging a woman lying on a couch. Some netizens speculated that the individuals were Kangmin and Julie, sparking controversy.

Kangmin recently appeared on Mnet’s Boys Planet 2, where he finished in 9th place and failed to re-debut.
