Kim Jongkook will hold a private wedding ceremony on the 5th at an undisclosed location in Seoul, inviting only family, relatives, and close acquaintances. His close friend, broadcaster Yoo Jaesuk, will officiate the ceremony.
No information has been disclosed about the bride-to-be other than that she is not a celebrity.
Kim Jongkook announced his marriage on the 18th by posting a handwritten letter on his fan cafe. He wrote, “I always prepared myself mentally, thinking that someday I might write and post something like this. But actually preparing this letter now, I'm more nervous and excited than I ever imagined. I'm getting married.”
He continued, “This year marks my 30th anniversary since debut. I didn't make the album I wanted to make, but I made my other half. Still, I hope you will celebrate and cheer for me,” adding, “I will become a Kim Jongkook who works harder and lives more diligently.”
