Super Junior’s Shindong expressed his disappointment over being dropped from shows without prior notice.
On the September 3rd broadcast of MBC’s variety show Radio Star (Episode 930), themed “All Big-Size Project,” guests Seo Janghoon, Shin Giru, Shindong, and Na Sunwook appeared.
During the show, when it was mentioned that although Shindong was an original cast member of Great Escape, he couldn’t stay until the end, he got emotional and said, “It was the same with Radio Star and with Great Escape, no one tells me when I’m leaving.”
Previously, Shindong revealed that he only learned through an article about the production of Great Escape: The Story, the revival of the Great Escape series after five years. In this new season, Shindong, Kim Jongmin, and P.O are out, while Baekhyun, Yeo Jin-goo, and Go Kyung-pyo have joined as new members.
As for Radio Star, where he was also an original cast member, Shindong confessed, “I found out (about being replaced) when I saw the article that said, ‘Shindong’s spot will be filled by Kim Gookjin.’ Since it keeps happening over and over, I just can’t forget it.”

1. They honestly have no manners
2. The least they could do was to call him
3. I stopped watching Great Escape after they removed Shindong and Kim Jongmin
4. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
5. So with the lineup change, did this season of Great Escape actually get more fun or fresh? Not really, which makes it even harder to understand.
5, Didn't they also say when they dropped the female members from Hangout with Yoo that they didn't get any notice either? Why do they handle things like that over there?
6. I kind of feel like they removed Shindong this time because the difficulty level was lower. If he were still there, it might have been way too easy. Still, they should've at least given him a heads-up...
7. Shindong was so essential to Great Escape though... this is too much
8. Learning through the articles is just too much, seriously
9. People in the broadcast industry do this all the time;;
10. No manners at all
