On this day, Jo Seho bowed his head toward Park Misun, saying, “It’s been a while since we met, and I’m sorry. I sincerely want to apologize for my recent attendance at the (event).” He added, “After that, I felt very cautious about meeting you again. I’m using this opportunity to better reflect on and recognize the issue,” expressing his apology regarding the controversy surrounding the breast cancer awareness campaign event.
The event Jo Seho apologized for was the “W Korea Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign: Love Your W,” held on October 15. [...]
In response to Jo Seho’s apology, Park Misun lightheartedly replied, “You must have been stressed out. You’ve lost some weight,” creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. She then humorously addressed some absurd rumors about herself, saying, “Some YouTube channels even held a funeral for me. My husband even cried on TV sometimes,” and added, “There’s so much fake news out there, so I came out today just to declare that I’m alive,” which drew laughter from the audience.
Park Misun went on to share that her breast cancer was discovered thanks to a comprehensive medical check-up in December. “In February, my breast ultrasound showed nothing wrong, but I decided to take another exam anyway, and that’s when they found something suspicious, which turned out to be breast cancer,” she said, emphasizing that the check-up she took on a whim ended up being the fateful moment that saved her life.
