[theqoo] ACTRESS LEE SI-YOUNG, CONCEIVES HER 2ND DAUGHTER, USING HER EX-HUSBAND'S FROZEN EMBRYO

Actress Lee Si-young gave birth to her second daughter, conceived from a frozen embryo with her ex-husband.

On the 5th, Lee Si-young posted a photo of herself holding her second child on social media, along with the caption, "I consider this a gift from God to my mother. I will make Jeong-yoon and Ssik-ssik (their names) happy forever."

Lee Si-young previously revealed on social media that her second child was a daughter through a conversation with an acquaintance.

Lee Si-young's agency, Ace Factory, also confirmed the birth on the 6th. The exact timing of the birth was not disclosed.

Lee Si-young married a businessman, A, who is nine years her senior, in 2017 and had a son. They divorced in March of this year after eight years of marriage.

Before the divorce, she froze embryos fertilized through in vitro fertilization (IVF), and during the divorce proceedings, she had them implanted without Mr. A's consent.

Lee Si-young revealed this in July, stating, "My partner did not consent, but I intend to bear the full weight of the decision I made."
