Spanish singer Rosalia's fourth studio album LUX
Currently holding a Metacritic score of 97
Ranked #1 in 2025 and #3 all-time
Pitchfork named it Best New Album for three consecutive times,
Rolling Stone 5/5 stars
The Guardian 5/5 stars
NME 5/5 stars
The Independent 5/5 stars, etc.
Numerous media outlets are unanimously showering it with praise
The LUX album has two major points of uniqueness:
1. Use of classical genre
The first single released from the album, Berghain
Shocked the world when Rosalia began singing in German with classical vocal techniques
She collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra on every track of the album,
making orchestral arrangements the main sound of this album.
Although flamenco is Rosalia's primary genre,
she freely employs operatic vocal techniques throughout this album, earning her the highest vocal acclaim of her career.
2. She's using 14 different languages
(Rosalia studying foreign languages)
The album's core themes are femininity and faith,
and the 14 languages used correspond to stories of female saints from each country.
(Languages used: Spanish, English, German, French, Catalan, Italian, Sicilian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Latin, Arabic, Hebrew)
She extensively researched and studied female literature and materials related to female saints,
and then spent an entire year solely focused on writing the lyrics,
composing them in 14 languages while matching the rhymes
She also performed her LUX album live for the first time and obviously, the reactions were amazing

This time, Spanish Latin pop singer Rosalía came out with an orchestral vocal album, which was met with huge buzz and rave reviews in the music industry, and was even predicted to reach number one on the UK album charts for the first time in her career.
Meanwhile. Taylor decided to release her album in the UK as a "CD version"
The atmosphere got so bad that she had to delete the tweet
Last year, she did the same and Charli XCX's BRAT wasn't able to hit #1
original post: here
1. How many times is she gonna claim that?... This is why people call Taylor a troll
2. Why is her album cover so twisted...
3. She's so desperate for fame
4. She's so annoying, she even deleted the tweet because of how bad the reactions were
5. She did the same when Billie's album came out
6. She needs to cut it down
7. So cringe
8. She needs to know moderation seriously
9. A singer should win through music, ugh she's so low...
10. She hates Trump, but everything she does is so Trump-like
