On the 27th, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Division 31 (Presiding Judge Nam In-soo) held the third hearing for the lawsuit filed by Min Heejin against HYBE seeking confirmation of the termination of their shareholder agreement and enforcement of a put option. Following the previous hearing in September, the court conducted additional direct examination of Min Heejin.

Regarding HYBE's claim that the declaration of NewJeans' exclusive contract was made at Min's instruction, the former CEO stated, “You saw my KakaoTalk messages, so you should know I had even planned NewJeans' world tour. Terminating the contract wouldn't benefit me at all.” She added, “If I just stay quiet, I could receive the put option. And does terminating an exclusive contract just happen like that?”

Meanwhile, former CEO Min Heejin announced her resignation as an internal director of ADOR in November 2024. Immediately afterward, she notified HYBE of her intention to exercise a put option worth approximately 26 billion won (the right to buy or sell shares at a predetermined price at a specific time) and subsequently filed a lawsuit demanding payment. The lawsuit seeks approximately 28.7 billion won.
