It seems like a new way of rigging the charts have been discovered
It has to do with SNS
"This is a way to go viral in Chinese SNS"
You can control your phones like a factory this way
You can even rig the revenue
"You can make an enormous volume of fake accounts and hit like or follow"
Usually it's barely possible to top Melon's chart if you're not an idol from a big company, but this is the stage of Melon right now
There are a bunch of singers that I've never heard of topping charts

I thought it was strange seeing NMIXX, who used to be regulars for charting out with only about 40–60k users, suddenly jump into the main chart area in just a week. The song wasn’t even that good either, and it made me wonder why they couldn’t even enter the charts before. They were #1 for a month, but there was no PAK

That's why I thought it was weird that NMIXX got #1. It felt very different from how things have worked over the past 4 years. Even top-tier groups that are used to hitting #1 usually need 2–3 weeks after releasing a song just to get into the top 10. They don’t even chart that often, but NMIXX released a song and immediately entered the mid-range of the charts, with user numbers that kept increasing. I would’ve brushed it off if they’d at least hit the top 10 multiple times before

That's right, it felt suspicious. Their previous release flopped, and then they just released a song and the ranking shot up steeply, before even going around music shows or appearing on broadcast programs to promote it ã…‹ã…‹ Park Jinyoung might not do this kind of thing, but “the Big 4” have had cases where first- week sales were higher than total distributor numbers, and they’ve even blatantly manipulated university audio systems, so it does feel sketchy

But big agencies have been notorious in cheating though? There's lots of talks about them using South East Asians to stream

Big agencies are the ones who rig the charts the most. Seriously some of the ones claiming they’re innocent might have just been picked as experimental targets
