[theqoo] 7 FOREIGN WORKERS IN 'VOGUE' LUNAR NEW YEAR HANBOK PHOTOSHOOT

The number of foreign workers in Korea has surpassed 1.1 million. Before we knew it, we were routinely using products born from their hands, making eye contact with them at restaurants and convenience stores, and boarding buses and subways together on our commutes. For the weekend every office worker looks forward to, we invited seven foreign workers to February's ‘Vogue Photo Studio’. Hailing from Nepal, Vietnam, China, Azerbaijan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Brazil, they donned their first perfectly fitting hanbok ahead of the Lunar New Year. Hoping Korea becomes a perfect home for them too, we unveil a new portrait of Korea discovered through these seven individuals who form the backbone of Korea's multicultural society.
