Min Heejin, former CEO of ADOR and now of Ooak Records, proposed new terms to HYBE, saying she would choose a different value instead of the 25.5 billion won payout.
On the afternoon of the 25th, after winning the first trial in her lawsuit against HYBE over a claim for stock sale payment, Min held a press conference at a location in Jongno-gu, Seoul. This marked her fourth press conference.
Appearing before reporters that day, Min said, “From 2026 until this first trial victory, it has truly been a long tunnel,” adding that the ruling “felt like comfort that healed the wounds of the past two years.”
She continued, “I feel indebted for the unintended fatigue I caused the public,” and said she hopes to repay it with a new vision. “The reason I am standing here today is to announce that I have decided to exchange the 25.5 billion won I would receive as the price of this victory for another value,” she stated.
She went on to say, “I would like to make a meaningful proposal to HYBE,” adding, “In exchange for giving up the 25.5 billion won, halt all ongoing lawsuits and disputes.”
She emphasized that this includes all complaints and legal actions involving herself, the members of NewJeans, partner companies, former ADOR employees, and the fandom.
On the 12th, the 31st Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Nam In-soo) dismissed HYBE’s lawsuit seeking confirmation of the termination of the shareholders’ agreement filed against Min and others. In a separate suit filed by Min against HYBE regarding the exercise of her put option and the claim for stock sale payment, the court ordered HYBE to pay her approximately 25.5 billion won.
