NewJeans lost their lawsuit last October seeking confirmation of the validity of their exclusive contract with ADOR. Afterwards, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni returned to ADOR one after another. However, Danielle’s exclusive contract was terminated by ADOR, and she is currently facing a damages lawsuit. Discussions regarding Minji’s return to ADOR are still ongoing, making it realistically impossible for NewJeans to continue activities as the original five-member group.

Regarding this, Min stated, “Only when all of these legal proceedings are concluded will indiscriminate noise affecting even the family-like fandom cease.” She added, “I cannot bear to watch a situation where NewJeans members, who should be happily on stage, have some standing on stage and others standing in court.
