On the morning of the 12th, the 31st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of Min Heejin in a lawsuit filed by HYBE against former Ador CEO Min Heejin to confirm the termination of the shareholder agreement and a lawsuit filed by Min Heejin to claim the proceeds from the stock purchase. The court ruled that HYBE's stated reason for termination of the contract "did not constitute a serious breach of duty."
Min Heejin's put option has also been recognized. With this ruling, Min Heejin is cleared of suspicions of management rights usurpation, known as the "NewJeans takeover," while HYBE, which lost the case, is now inevitably held accountable for the excessive dispute.
