A popular K-pop male singer, A, is alleged to have a child born out of wedlock.

On the 19th, online media outlet "MHN Sports" reported that A has a child born in 2022 with a former girlfriend.

However, the outlet reported that it has not been officially confirmed whether A is registered as the father in the family registry or whether legal recognition procedures have been completed.

A is known to have continued to provide a certain level of financial support for the child's upbringing.

Under current civil law, for children born out of wedlock, the legal paternity relationship is established only after the child's father has been acknowledged.

It's unfamiliar and disconcerting to see the father's role as accomplished just by paying child support
