Since this is anonymous, I'm going to be totally honest, but I was utterly disappointed. I don't understand why they named the album "Arirang." The songs are a jumble of electronic sounds and sound like ghosts are about to appear; they were all depressing. If they were going to name the album "Arirang," shouldn't they have at least sung the title track in Korean? The lyrics look incredibly half-hearted, too. "Swim" also makes up half of the lyrics. To put it simply, it's like flat cola. I can't see any of BTS's identity in it. They said they brought in famous foreign composers to produce this, but it's so bad that it even makes me wonder if they are doing it on purpose to ruin Korean culture just because it's doing well. Are these really the songs BTS wants to make and share with their fans?

Can someone explain why is this album called "Arirang"? That Arirang part that briefly appears in 'Body to Body'... surely they chose 'Arirang' just because of that, right? I listened to every track and looked up articles, but it really felt like an album only fans could understand. I'm not a fan, but I really loved BTS's music itself. I especially thought the lyrics were the key to their songs. And when I heard this album was 'Arirang,' I thought, 'Okay, they're born-to-be K-pop idols, so I'd expect that kind of vibe,' but it's so different from what I expected. Maybe it's because all the members have successfully completed their solo careers and developed their own tastes, but I don't know why the album feels so different from before. Even though it's a full-group comeback album, the atmosphere isn't full of energy; it actually feels a bit dark. Considering BTS isn't just a group with average popularity and fame, they're touring the world and even holding a comeback stage in Gwanghwamun, I thought there would be at least one song with mainstream appeal, rather than just an album that's good for ARMYs only...

It freaking sucked. If you lose your roots, it's over. They'll probably survive on fandom power, get shunned by muggles, and retire.
