The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency plans to deploy special police forces and, as a matter of principle, will arrest and investigate perpetrators of public intimidation. Metal detectors will be installed at the 31 entrances and exits in the event’s core zone, and security checks for dangerous items such as weapons will be conducted starting at 7 a.m. on the day of the event. Furthermore, to prepare for sudden knife attacks, approximately 150 detectives from the violent crimes units of the 31 police stations under the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency will be deployed around the event venue.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 15th that it will deploy approximately 6,500 police officers for the upcoming BTS concert in Gwanghwamun. This is more than double the number of officers, around 3,000,deployed for the annual Yeouido Fireworks Festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands of people each year. On the day of the event, a total of approximately 14,700 personnel, including police officers, will be deployed to the site. In addition to the police, 3,400 personnel from the Seoul Metropolitan Government and nearby district offices, as well as 4,800 from the event organizer HYBE, will be deployed.

1. They are using all my tax money on HYBE and Netflixㅗㅗㅗ
2. Are they really going to push ahead with this and cause such a nuisance? They should just film the Gwanghwamun segment among themselves and do the live performance at a venue with the fans
3. I wonder why the restrictions are so excessive, but since we can't cancel it now that they've decided to go ahead, I can only hope it goes smoothly without any accidents
4. Why are they making such a big deal out of this? They should have just secured the rights to use the Gyeongbokgung Palace image and booked tickets to enter the palace. Instead, they're restricting access to get the rights to the Gwanghwamun image too, and mobilizing all sorts of personnel. Is the Seoul Metropolitan Government also restricting access starting at 9 a.m. on the 22nd and mobilizing all sorts of personnel for non-stop subway service just to protect BTS? I'm curious about the reason. Isn't this excessive, even if it's for safety?
5. They are seriously going so overboard for this
6. What a f*cking exaggerationㅗㅗㅗㅗ Please
7. Because they are close to the journalists, the media play will be insane
8. No but who are they that they are they using my tax money like this/
9. Who the hell are they? They are using my tax money on their comeback?
10. They didn't even go to such extent for the 2002 World Cup. We were cheering for the World Cup, and buses were driving right by us and everything
