Comments defending and supporting IU, Byun Wooseok, Cha Eunwoo, Kim Soohyun, Yoo Ah-in, and others are all over Instagram right now…

Seriously, no matter how attached you are to celebrities or how much of a fan you are, when something is wrong, people should say it’s wrong, and when it’s time to turn away, they should turn away.

Wouldn’t celebrities genuinely reflect on themselves if that happened? And wouldn’t younger or fellow celebrities also become much more careful about their behavior and avoid actions that could cause controversy after seeing those examples?

Why is everyone so obsessively fixated on “celebrities,” almost like they’re crazy? I personally can’t understand glorifying and worshipping strangers who don’t even know you exist. I think highly enough of myself that I don’t get why people praise and idolize complete strangers like that. You should give that kind of devotion to your partner or your family instead.

Why spend so much effort defending celebrities who see it as a way to make money, posting protective comments, trying to manipulate public opinion, and dedicating your life to them?

Fans defending and shielding controversial celebrities too. Honestly, people need to go hard on them, like making examples out of them with extreme punishments or something, so everyone stops going “my oppa” and “my unnie” and just shuts up ㅋㅋ I seriously wish the world became like that

If IU and Byun Wooseok are really sorry, they shouldn’t just smooth things over with one apology post.
If they returned all their appearance fees and removed the drama from streaming platforms, and dealt with it properly like that, then maybe I’d acknowledge it at least ㅋㅋ

And for Cha Eunwoo too, does paying the money back suddenly make everything okay? Same with all celebrities.
He dodged taxes first, then if he gets unlucky and gets caught later, he just needs to pay it back and then crawl back into dramas acting like nothing happened. Is that supposed to be the end of it?

For example, if people who did things like this were BJ streamers or influencers instead, would you guys still be saying, “We support our oppa,” “He would never do that,” and all that?

Because you people keep worshipping them so much, these celebrities start thinking they’re actually something special and get arrogant ; they’re all just human beings like everyone else.
I seriously don’t get why people deify them so much.

I wish there were laws to punish defending fans too…
People get sued and punished for hateful comments,
so why aren’t comments defending and shielding people who shouldn’t be defended punished too? I honestly wish they would make laws for that ㅋㅋ
