Asian content infrastructure company Fastview has won the first trial in a damages lawsuit filed by Source Music, with the court dismissing the plaintiff’s claims.
On the 12th, the Civil Division 9 of the Seoul Western District Court ruled to dismiss the damages lawsuit filed by Source Music against Fastview and ordered the plaintiff to bear the litigation costs as well. The specific reasoning behind the ruling has not yet been disclosed.
This decision follows another ruling on the 8th, in which the same court dismissed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 280 million won filed by HYBE, Belift Lab, and members of ILLIT against Fastview.
A Fastview representative, responding to the consecutive dismissals, stated, “We respect the court’s decision,” adding, “We will continue to cooperate sincerely with all related procedures going forward.”
Meanwhile, a HYBE representative told the publication, “We have no separate statement to make.”

2. These channels claimed that the K-Pop group ILLIT, under Belift Lab, plagiarized content from other artists, while spreading false information that the members of LE SSERAFIM, under Source Music, have low skill levels.
^ this is the content of the lawsuit
3. So it backfired, and they unwillingly made us know that their plagiarism and lack of talent is true... Just what did they gain from that?
4. They lost again ㅋㅋㅋㅋ impressive
5. If it's not at the level of Sojang, it's better to just ignore wreckers
6. How can you even lose a lawsuit against a cyberwrecker...
7. How can you sue someone for defamation over claims that your group is untalented... Did they really think they could win..
8. Do their lawyer suck this much?
9. Wrecker VS wrecker ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
10. Meanwhile they're going around with the internal documents that they created and spreading those lies, yet never apologized. They're freaking shameless...
