[theqoo] I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE BEING SARCASTIC TOWARDS HYBE AND ILLIT - RULING PART ABOUT CYBER WRECKERS

"5) In the 9th video, the defendant company used the format of quoting netizens’ comments such as ‘Isn’t this mocking P and Q’s kalguksu controversy?’ and in the 11th video quoted comments like ‘Does she have atopia?’ and ‘Did she get liposuction?’ Rather than using direct and definitive statements, they did not explicitly assert concrete facts.

6) In the 10th video, they merely introduced claims that suspicions were being raised about A being connected to the pro-Japanese ‘T religious group,’ along with netizens’ reactions. They did not use direct or definitive language regarding any actual connection between A and the ‘T religious group.’

7) All of the videos posted by the defendant company concerned public figures or matters of public interest, and among the expressions used in these videos, none were deemed to have clearly exceeded the limits protected under freedom of expression."

If you look at the other parts of the ruling, this is a YouTuber who spread liposuction rumors about female idols and even cult rumors too.

Those parts were also included in the lawsuit.

But because they framed everything as quoting netizen comments instead of making direct statements themselves, they avoided punishment…

So I don't know if this is really something people should just mock and celebrate.

It looks more like the YouTuber was extremely calculated and sneaky about it

1. I just f*cking pity NewJeans. What a crazy company

2. Pfttthahahaha

3. If that's the case, doesn't that leave a loophole for wreckers to slip through?

4. Then do you want to call their internal document "wreckers" too? Honestly, isn't that kind of funny? It's ridiculous to expect people to feel sorry for them, it's such a double standard. The volume of their internal documents is even more massive, and the language is even cruder. They said they only released a few because the content was so explicit, and even that was shocking... They  have never apologized for them either

5. Why are we feeling bad for ILLITã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ They were the beneficiaries of plagiarism after allã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ ILLIT was created because Min Heejin didn't want to give up her put option, the group name was copied from IVE, and even the tiniest details of the concept were all ripped off from NewJeans. It's a fact that they're the biggest beneficiary of the scandal involving personal attacks and SH against other idols, yet now that they've even lost the lawsuit they filed as a plaintiff, are they trying to play the pitiful, innocent young victim again? ã…‹ã…‹ NewJeans are actually younger... Ah, even though LIT is older than New, they went around calling New "unnie, unnie" with that whiny voiceã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. ???: If people can just do whatever they want, then why do we have contracts and laws?
This is just their own karma coming back

7. Wow the comments here are so hateful... only hate remains

8. As a fan of idols, this ruling has me worried about the future. F*ck

9. I only feel bad for NewJeans. The beneficiaries are cosplaying as victims and are promoting just fine. They screwed over Danielle and they never even released any statement about her. F*ck, seriously..

10. Then, they could just sue the netizens who left the hateful comments
