[theqoo] IT'S CONFIRMED THAT PLEDIS ARE THE ONES WHO SUGGESTED THE CONCEPT FOR DINO'S SOLO THAT WENT VIRAL IN THE HOT CATEGORY

"I thought it would be nice if it came out under "Pi Cheolin" (t/n: Dino's old geezer alter ego). I actually received the proposal for this album from the company. At first, even I was like, "Huh? Pi Cheolin? Really?" I think I spent about six months thinking it over. What would I look like if I came out as Pi Cheolin? I ran through that scenario in my head over and over again, and I think that process continued for those six months.

In the end, I think it came down to this: I talked with the company a lot. Through all those conversations, I came to the same conclusion I mentioned earlier. When I think about myself as an artist in the long term. I'm not someone who's going to be a singer for only two or three years and then quit. More than anyone, I think you all know me best. Looking at the bigger picture, this could really broaden my spectrum as an artist, and through a project like this I could show people something completely new.

I felt that this was an opportunity to do things that others hadn't done before, or couldn't do. Because I kept thinking that way, I eventually decided, "Yes, I'll give it a try." I think I made up my mind with that kind of determination. That's why I've been preparing even harder and approaching it with an even stronger sense of resolve."

So the leaked relative's spoiler turned out to be true:

"The reason why SEVENTEEN is releasing things: Choose between either enlist while doing nothing at all VS releasing a solo with a geezer in his 50s concept then enlist"

If they insisted on that for six months, isn't that practically a level where there was no choice?

original post: here

1. Oh... Yet there was a post with over 1200+ comments bashing Dino saying that's what he wanted to go for... He must feel so f*cking wronged

2. Wow Pledis will always have no tact at all

3. If he's been considering it for 6 months, isn't it clear that he didn't want to do it at all?

4. Ha seriously Pledis has no tact..

5. Ha... F*ck Pledis go d*e. The reason they spent six months persuading him was basically saying, "It's either this or go to the army." Those crazy bastards ㅋㅋㅋ

6. Sigh so it's true that the company forced him

7. Yet the fans kept pushing that this was what he wanted and that SEVENTEEN has a say in what they want to release ㅋㅋ

8. No but if this is right before he enlists, at least give the singer his freedom to pick whatever he wants to do? Are they crazy?

9. F*ck Pledis should close down as an entertainment company

10. This is so obviously what happened. I want to smack all his fangirls who claimed it was his choice
