[theqoo] DISNEY TO COLLAB WITH G-DRAGON, 'TOY STORY' COLLECTION LAUNCH

The Walt Disney Company Korea announced on the 22nd that it is launching a "Toy Story" themed collaboration collection with G-Dragon's brand, PEACEMINUSONE.

This marks the first project in which Disney has co-created with a K-pop artist and jointly planned everything from products to retail experiences. The collection was designed under the concept of "THE FIRST FAN," which conveys the meaning that "toys are G-Dragon's first fans in his pursuit of his dreams." The collection features artwork incorporating PEACEMINUSONE's daisy motif onto popular characters such as Woody, Buzz, and Jessie.

Approximately 70 different items, ranging from figures and plush toys to fashion and lifestyle products, will be released in ten cities including Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Shanghai. Casetify is also participating as a collaboration partner to showcase mobile accessories such as phone cases and AirPods cases.

In Korea, the products will be available at a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, starting from the 1st of next month. The first floor is designed to recreate a childhood room, while the second floor serves as a product purchasing area.
