"Do you agree with the saying that you don't get depression easily if you have money?"
Do you guys also think that money has a huge impact on having a weak mentality and depression?

1. Depression itself stems from values such as innate mental resilience, a desire for honor, and a tendency to compare oneself to others. Depression caused by poverty arises when a person is mentally pushed to the brink because the difficult situation overwhelms them; however, since this is something that would resolve itself if the environment changed, it is a different issue from having a weak mentality
2. My friends are daughters of big construction company owners, securities firm CEOs, and directors. Both of my parents work for large corporations, so I grew up without worrying about money, but we have all been taking psychiatric medication for years. It seems the habit of comparing oneself to others truly turns everything into hell, regardless of wealth or social class
3. I think genetics plays a big role. However, there are actually many things you can do once you are diagnosed with depression. Just being able to stop being so preoccupied with daily life is one thing...
4. That being said, the well-off kids around me are going to psychiatrists because of depression..ㅠ
5. Nop, but genes play a bigger factor
6. First of all, I need to earn a lot of money
7. Feeling depressed and depression are 2 different things
8. Since you can create a stress-free environment, it actually feels like you're becoming more sensitive to stimuli and finicky...
9. I was about to say, "Most people don't have it, do they?" but then I realized that even though I earn pretty well for my age, I have depression
10. You could probably prevent a lot of misfortune. But just because misfortune strikes doesn't mean everyone becomes depressed, right? There are people who use misfortune as a driving force to live on. I think depression is a genetic issue
