[theqoo] KARA, ONE MONTH AHEAD OF JAPANESE FAN MEETINGS... CANCELS ALL 4 EVENTS

According to a MyDaily report on the 1st, KARA has indefinitely postponed a total of four fan meetings scheduled to take place in Japan on July 4 and 5.

According to a source, the event was postponed due to various local circumstances. Full refunds will be issued for tickets that have already been purchased. Some speculate that the decision to hold a fan meeting, rather than a concert, in a 10,000-seat arena led to sluggish ticket sales, which is seen as the reason for the postponement.

KARA had planned to meet local fans at the Toyota Arena Tokyo on July 4 and 5 for the fan meeting titled "2026 KARA JAPAN FANMEETING: Hello, KAMILIA! (2026 KARA JAPAN FANMEETING: Hello, KAMILIA!)' on July 4 and 5, but abruptly canceled the event just one month before it was scheduled to take place.

KARA, who reunited in 2022 for their 15th-anniversary album, has been actively promoting in Japan, holding tours in 2024 and last year.

original post: here

1. Even boy groups are having difficulty selling fan meetings in arenasㅜㅜ KARA, I wish you success

2. There are limits to selling nostalgia

3. They couldn't sell the tickets. They didn't even release any new song, are not doing a concert but they wanted to sell tickets just based on memories. They should know their limits

4. KARA, fighting!!

5. To be honest, selling nostalgia has its limits now... they really couldn't sell their ticketsㅠㅠ

6. They should release just one new song... WHEN I MOVE was so good

7. They should hold a concert instead...

8. For a fan meeting, even Japanese artists are having trouble sell 10,000 seats..

9. The venue is way too big. And they are doing 4 fan meetings? Who planned this?

10. The place is honestly way too big.... Japanese local idols are becoming more popular too so how did they think of selling those tickets without any promotions? They are so bad at doing their work
