YouTuber Sukyzin, the cousin of Red Velvet's Seulgi, has passed away in an accident. She was 30 years old.
On the 11th, a comment was posted on Sukyzin's YouTube channel by a woman identified as "A," who claimed to be the deceased's cousin. A, who stated she resides in the United States, began by saying, "My heart is heavy delivering this sudden tragic news to the many people who have always cherished and supported Soojin."
She announced, "Our lovely Soojin became a star in the sky on June 7th due to a sudden accident," adding, "Family and friends accompanied Soojin on her final journey."
She continued, "I earnestly ask the subscribers who cherished Soojin's YouTube channel to send their warm condolences and prayers for the deceased's final journey," and urged, "Please be with them in spirit so that the family can fully compose themselves and send Soojin off peacefully."
The deceased was a figure well known to the public as the cousin of girl group Red Velvet's Seulgi. The tragedy is particularly heartbreaking as she had posted a video taken with Seulgi just 12 days prior to the news of her passing.
