[theqoo] TWITTER PEOPLE PISSED OFF BECAUSE OF MARK AND I-ROACHES

Tweet:
Why should Mark be referred to as a Korean?

It's because I see a sinister motive in your attempt to label all Koreans as a group when the problem was clearly caused by a Canadian. I find that motive quite racist toward Koreans.

I guess you don't consider someone who looks like that to be a Canadian, do you?

QRT:
On the contrary, if that were a good thing, they would have erased everything linked to Korea and reinterpreted it as being influenced by other nationalities, races, religions, or groups lol. It just seems insane that the product of the Korean Wave is the demonization of Korea, and I think a separate technical term should be created for this kind of anti-Korean sentiment because the power of language is strong. Like "sinophobic" or "Korphobic."

QRT: For real, if you're Canadian, you don't even need to go to the military. So you're really Canadian right?

QRT: Whenever foreigners get on the case of K-pop singers from overseas backgrounds, if it's someone from their own country they pull out every excuse in the book, but the second it sparks controversy they suddenly nitpick ✌️ethnically✌️ and claim they're Korean, then go on about how Koreans are super racist and all that jazz. I'm just dying to ask when they're gonna quit this crap lol. Pick a lane, seriously, if they didn't do the former, I'd let the latter slide, but...

original post: here

1. He didn't even enlist?;;

2. He's originally from Canada and he didn't even serve in the army, so why are we treating him like a Korea? His English comes out the moment he's stressed, he's a foreigner through and through

3. So i-roaches are now pushing the fact that he's Korean? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. Ah this is oba, you can't shield him. Even I know about this sign, and you're telling me he didn't know? How does it make sense? Seriously if he really didn't know, he truly is ignorant no?

5. He's a Canadian, treat him like a Canadian

6. He's Canadian though, you guys take him over there and fight over that t-shirt

7. So Canadians can't have an Asian face?
