Famous Japanese actor Ryusei Yokohama made controversial remarks about BL and said he doesn’t understand the meaning of diversity.

“This is just my personal opinion. I’m not interested in BL or that kind of thing. I don’t understand any of it, so for me, no. As for this whole diversity issue, I simply don’t understand its meaning. That’s all. Of course, BL and this kind of content exist because there’s demand for it, but all I meant was that I don’t understand what the purpose of it is.”
