[theqoo] UNIQLO, WHICH HIT DAEBAK GLOBALLY

- This is UNIQLO
- You might think that the brand is only popular in Korea...
- But it's really popular overseas as well
- In North America, sales increased by 25%
- And in Europe, sales reportedly increased by 35%
- To put things into perspective...
- The company that owns brands like Gucci, Bottega Veneta and YSL, which are part of Kering Group
- UNIQLO has surpassed their total revenue last year
- Hang on, so it means that...
- If a Gucci bag is about 2M won
- And an UNIQLO sweater about 40,000 won
- Can you imagine just how many UNIQLO items must've been sold?
- Around 31 trillion won
- They recorded an all time sales high

original post: here

1. I went to Spain for vacation and went to UNIQLO. There were so many people there

2. Honestly, there’s no real alternative when it comes to value for money. I hear domestic brands are stepping up their game lately, though...
But even just comparing it to a similarly sized SPAO in the same mall, UNIQLO's superior convenience, such as its vastly more spacious fitting rooms and checkout areas, made it clear why they’re so successful.
They offer a huge range of sizes, too, plenty of options to choose from.
I don't really shop there much in Korea, though I might pick up a T-shirt or two when I visit Japan, but I do hope domestic brands really step up

3. Their quality is so good...

4. UNIQLO offers great quality for the price. These days, so many brands try to charge a premium despite poor quality, but I think that kind of brand-driven sales tactic just doesn't work anymore. Consumer standards have shifted; people now prioritize finding clothes that fit well, are comfortable, and are high-quality over mere brand value

5. I never planned to shop from there, but the value for your money is seriously the best... There really aren't many others that survive just getting tossed into the wash like that

6. I spent about 6 months in Europe, including the UK, last year, and no matter which country I visited, UNIQLO was always packed with people...

7. I love that they have so many sizes to pick from..

8. Their designs are so so, but they're still popular

9. I found UNIQLO way too basic, so I didn't like it. But out of nowhere, they started getting better with designs and they've been selling well

10. I buy all my basics there
