"Hello.
This is Bell Song Ji-yoon, the operator of the Potato Turtle channel.
I sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable due to the video I recently uploaded. I have been reading every single comment you left and am deeply reflecting on my thoughtless actions.
I am currently challenging myself to complete 100 items on my bucket list. Among these, there are challenges that are relatively easy to achieve, such as "seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland," but there are also challenges that are realistically difficult to accomplish, such as "having a cup of coffee with Jennie."
I wanted to challenge myself with things that seemed impossible. I wanted to knock on doors and find my own path.
Of course, I did not think that visiting a company or attending a concert would actually lead to having coffee with Jennie.
I often refer to overseas content while making videos.
Since there is often content overseas that shouts out celebrities, I produced the video with the desire to convey my sincerity.
However, I was short-sighted. I am sincerely sorry for causing discomfort to so many people. ..."
1. Regarding the sasaeng issue:
I failed to realize that my actions of visiting the company without prior notice to deliver a letter and a bouquet could be perceived as being a sasaeng myself.
My intention was to convey my sincerity by delivering the letter and filming the process, but the method I used was wrong.
I think I was too ignorant about idol fan culture. I will act more cautiously in the future. I apologize.
2. Regarding the banner sign:
I briefly held up a banner sign during a stage transition for video filming purposes. As it was my first time attending a concert, I lacked understanding of concert culture.
I also sincerely apologize for holding up the picket sign at the venue. I will observe concert etiquette and ensure I do not repeat such mistakes in the future. I am striving to create authentic videos while fulfilling my bucket list.
The claim that I used Jennie for content purposes is absolutely not true.
As a fan who simply likes Jennie, I wanted to convey my sincerity. I hope that my sincerity will not be obscured by my inadequate actions.
Through this incident, I have come to realize my shortcomings and am reflecting on them. I will strive to become a better person in the future. I sincerely apologize once again to everyone who felt inconvenienced. I am sorry.
The reason she's apologizing
original post: here
1. First of all, she's not even a fan... She's just a muggle who likes celebrities like Jennie
2. I wonder if she ever bought her album
3. She's just an attention seeker
4. I don't even think she's a fan of Jennie
5. Don't idol fans also visit the company? They're such nuisance
6. She really doesn't sound like a fan...
7. "Challenge" ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹,,,
8. No but I think her apology is well-written. But why are people saying "I support you"?
9. I thought she was young, but she's an early 00'er...
10. I think her apology is f*cking well-written
