[theqoo] CHUNGHA: "I THOUGHT I'D HAVE A HOUSE, A CAR AND A BOYFRIEND BY THE TIME I HIT MY 30S, BUT I HAVE NONE OF THEM"

[...]

Chungha jokingly asked, "Do you mind if I cry for a moment?" before opening up: "When I was younger, I thought that by the time I turned thirty, I would be a full-fledged adult, married, owning a house and a car, having a boyfriend, and possessing plenty of dating experience." She then candidly admitted, "But it feels like only the number has changed, while I remain exactly the same."

original post: here

1. Isn't Chungha under a one-person agency? I doubt there would be any issues with settlements

2. Chungha doesn't even own a house? I thought she was earning a lot

3. You know, there’s a huge difference between how we imagined our 30s when we were young and what it’s actually like now that we’re here. I’m not sure if society’s perception of people in their 30s has changed over time, or if it was always like this and they just seemed like "real grown-ups" to my younger self. Now that I’m in my late 30s, when I look at someone who’s exactly 30, I just think they seem so young, and I feel envious

4. But Chungha has all that in cash

5. I think she meant that she thought everything would be settled at that point, but she hasn't decided to settle down for anything yet. Everyone is like that. Regardless of how much money you have, it's different from the 30s I imagined

6. I don't know for now, but I remember Chungha living in a very beautiful house in the past

7. It's because she hasn't made the decision to buy anything yet, not that she doesn't have the money

8. She has the money guys

9. Chungha said that it's because she hasn't bought anything yet

10. She doesn't even have a car..??
