🚨 Rapper Macklemore dramatically kicked out of Ed Sheeran US tour 
- Macklemore and Ed Sheeran have been close friends for 13 years
- Macklemore was set to perform as the opener for Ed Sheeran's shows (10 performances)
- During the first 2 shows, Macklemore performed a protest song "Free Palestine"
- The pro-Israel stadium owner rallied other venue owners and issued an ultimatum to Ed Sheeran: kick out Macklemore or no use of the venues 
- Macklemore was removed from the tour
- Ed Sheeran publicly maintains neutrality: "I don't take sides"
- Macklemore: "If national flags or statements feel more offensive than the deaths of tens of thousands of children, that's a huge difference in perspective. There's no neutrality between oppressor and victim"

Ed Sheeran has released a statement on Macklemore being removed from his tour for speaking up for Palestine:

“Macklemore coming off tour was the promoter's decision, it was not mine. Macklemore's contract for the tour was with the promoter, not me. […] I am not complicit. I have my personal views on this devastating conflict. Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean I don't have them, and it doesn't mean I don't care. Nor does it mean I don't support causes in my own, personal way.”

1. Is it actually true that Ed Sheeran talks about the war a lot? I went to the Olympic Park show in Sydney on the 3rd, but I never heard him mention it even once...

2. It is absolutely true that staying neutral in a situation where the victim and perpetrator are clearly defined isn't actually neutrality. It’s so lame how they’re willing to speak their minds on other issues but act like that when Israel is involved.

9. I feel bad for Ed Sheeran. Why did Macklemore come to perform at his concert just to be a nuisance?

10. Why act like that during someone else's tour? If he has such strong convictions and confidence, he should just do it at his own show. If he really holds those beliefs, he should express them at his own concert. Now poor Ed Sheeran is the one getting screwed over for no reason
