[instiz] KOREA RESEARCH SURVEY ON 'ACTORS WHO REPRESENT SOUTH KOREA'

Following our previous surveys, which identified "South Korea’s representative singer" in 2024 and "South Korea’s representative athlete" last year, we have now determined who is considered "South Korea’s representative actor." The survey was conducted from August 21 to 24, 2026, among 1,000 men and women aged 18 or older nationwide. It utilized an open-ended format, meaning no options were provided, and allowed each respondent to name up to three individuals.

Participants were asked to identify who they consider to be "South Korea’s representative actor," rather than simply naming their "favorite actor." Consequently, responses likely reflect not only personal preference but also factors such as an actor’s acting ability, notable works, awards, length of career, and public reputation. Due to differences in the nature of the question, the response format, and the data collection methodology, these results cannot be directly compared to actor preference surveys or brand reputation rankings produced by other organizations.
