5. So, US law really means nothing to people with money or power, huh? Then again, the US is the ultimate capitalist nation. That’s hardly a punishment, and the criminal even got to serve in the military. He’ll probably use that to his advantage later; it’ll serve as a credential that guys who didn't serve don't have, so it’s a sweet deal for him
