1. Where did they pick up such nonsense ideas? We have perfectly good Korean and Hangeul, yet everything is usually riddled with foreign words; all we’re trying to do is use actual Korean for just one day, Hangeul Day, so why get so worked up about it? Korean is a language so deeply intertwined with Hangeul... Naturally, it’s better to express things in our own language than to use foreign loanwords. Besides, that initiative even explains the meanings of those teams' names, so why be so obstructive?
