Son Naeun also spoke candidly about her personality. She said, "In the past, I placed a lot of limitations on myself, thinking, 'I shouldn't do things like that.' Looking back now, it feels like a waste; I regret not doing those things when I was younger."

She continued, "I’ve improved a lot since then. It wasn't something I consciously tried to change; it happened naturally," adding, "Now, I can even strike up a conversation with people I’m meeting for the first time."

Notably, she surprised everyone by confessing, "I couldn't handle banking tasks or even walk outside alone. That was the case for me until my mid-to-late twenties."

In response, Ha Ji-young offered warm words of comfort: "You might wonder why I couldn't do things like that, but remember, I’ve been active in the industry since such a young age. I had people looking out for me and the agency supporting me, so it is only now that I am truly living as Son Naeun."

Son Naeun deeply empathized with this, saying, "That’s right. I can feel that I am living as my true self. It feels wonderful, but it has also brought a sense of responsibility."

Son Naeun also opened up about how the label of being an actress with an idol background has been a significant source of pressure for her.

"I always find myself thinking, 'People are probably judging me, aren't they?'" she said. "Since I started out as a singer, that kind of pressure is always there. It hasn't completely gone away even now. It's gotten much better, but I'm trying not to dwell on those thoughts."

She continued, "That's why I work even harder and keep trying to improve. When I arrive on set, I make an effort to approach people first and smile so I can feel more comfortable. Because of that, I've started thinking, 'I can do this.'"

Son Naeun debuted as a member of Apink in 2011 and rose to fame with the group. After leaving Apink in 2022, she has focused on pursuing her acting career.
