Heads of public enterprises say that if they are just allowed to utilize AI, they could drastically cut down on hiring.
Meanwhile, in the IT and software development sectors, companies are reportedly hiring only experienced professionals and have stopped recruiting entry-level staff altogether.
On top of that, since South Korea is projected to have one of the highest AI adoption rates in the world, a "hiring cliff" is expected to become a reality soon.
