Kim Jayeon, a trend analyst who won first place in the 2003 SBS Supermodel Contest, has married Son Young-kwon, former president of Samsung Electronics and former chairman of Harman. There is a 25-year age gap between the two.

On social media, Kim recently shared several wedding photos along with a message: "I thought I would live alone for the rest of my life, but after many twists and turns, well past the age of forty, I finally met 'the one' for me." 

She explained, "My husband served as President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Samsung Electronics, and he currently holds positions as Chairman of the Samsung Semiconductor Advisory Board and Chairman of the Board at Harman International; he is also the founder of a Silicon Valley venture capital firm."

She continued, "Beyond all his professional achievements, my husband is a man of warm character who genuinely cares for and loves me, and who is always considerate and respectful," adding, "He finds me, despite my tall stature, very adorable."

She further shared, "We initially got to know each other naturally as senior and junior colleagues. As we spent more time together, we grew closer, and after confirming our feelings for one another early this year, we began traveling between the U.S., Korea, and Europe, a process that allowed us to understand and respect each other's worlds."

Meanwhile, Kim Jayeon was born in 1981 and is 45 years old this year. Former President Son was born in 1956 and is 70 years old.

5. If they met as fellow students at MIT, both of them must be incredibly accomplished, so why does it feel like the woman is being subtly belittled? It’s the same thing I saw with Brad Pitt. Even though the woman he was with was a businessperson, the way she was portrayed just didn't make any sense

6. Is this the 2nd marriage for the guy?

7. It's not a 20 y'o with a 40 y'o, but a 50 y'o with a 70 y'o, so it's none of my business

9. The woman is 1m83, so I wouldn't say the man is short
