[theqoo] THE SECRET OF KOREANS EATING SALT

Koreans don’t even rank in the global rankings.

There were tabloid-level data made by some weird research group using flawed methods, claiming that our sodium intake is higher than the US or Japan, but if you travel abroad and try other countries’ food even once, you’ll immediately realize that’s nonsense.

What? It’s dangerous only when it's higher than the WHO’s recommended intake?

Unless it’s extremely poor countries like parts of Africa, most countries are already consuming way above the recommended levels anyway ^^

Sure, reducing it wouldn’t be bad for your health, but honestly, this feels like the same recycled nonsense as the whole “water-scarce country” claim.
